Andrea Warner

Andrea Warner is the author of Buffy Sainte-Marie: The Authorized Biography (2018) and We Oughta Know: How Four Women Ruled the '90s and Changed Canadian Music (2015). She works as an associate producer at CBC Music, as well as a radio columnist and freelance writer. Andrea is a panelist on the new CBC podcast Pop Chat, and has co-hosted the weekly feminist podcast Pop This! since 2015.

She serves on the programming committee for the Vancouver Podcast Festival, which she helped co-found in 2018. Andrea is a settler who was born and raised in Vancouver on the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations and her pronouns are she/her/hers.
